Woman of the Year
Each year, we recognize a dynamic woman from Bonita Springs-Estero, who is well known for her philanthropic and service contributions to improve the local community. Former recipients have all played key leadership roles in local charitable organizations and foundations or may have worked tirelessly on women’s issues that represent the heart of the club’s mission: to improve the circumstances of women at all stages of life, both locally and globally.
2019 Luncheon at Palmira Golf and Country Club
Thank you to our Emcee Stacey Deffenbaugh. Also in attendance were Bonita Springs Councilman Fred Forbes, Estero Mayor Bill Ribble, and Vice Mayor Katy Errington, presenting Proclamations declaring Zonta Day and acknowledging the work of our Club. Also in attendance to Honor our Woman of the Year, State Attorney Amira Fox.
The event is home to our Annual Fundraiser. The Gift Drawing and Live Auction of desserts, jewelry, dinners, and wine were fun for all and raised funds for future Scholarship and Grant presentations.
