NOVEMBER MEETING UPDATE:  Our dessert auction was so much fun!  With donations of cookies, pies, cakes, and homemade baked goods we raised almost $300!  Thanks to all who donated and bid on the desserts!  The funds will be added to the $2,000 we are donating towards the Bonita Springs High School cheer leading  uniforms.  The high cost of the uniforms can be a burden to families.  We feel cheer leading promotes teamwork and good self esteem for the young ladies of our community.  We also inducted three new members!!!  Welcome Rosie, Laurie and Pat!  For photos, check out our Facebook page and “like” us!

President’s Message:

The Zonta Club of Bonita Springs – Estero is a local organization of exceptional professional women who are part of a bigger international mission.  Through service and advocacy, the club provides the opportunity for women to become empowered at all stages of life. They are encouraged to be self sustaining by having the ability to care for themselves and their families. The fundraising efforts and hours of service have allowed the club to provide much needed scholarships and grants to local women and organizations. Our club also participates in global initiatives embraced by Zonta International, such as “Free the Girls” and Say “No to Violence Against Women.”

I sincerely hope you will consider becoming a part of our organization. You will find friendship and the opportunity to be a part of an international effort of helping women around the world.
