President’s Message:

Welcome to Zonta Club of Bonita Springs- Estero,

For over 100 years, Zonta has been a voice for women world-wide.  The mission of Zonta is to empower women in all stages of life through service and advocacy.  Our local club is celebrating 25 years as an organization.  We are excited for all of the wonderful support we have provided to our community as well as the recognition that has been given to our club from peers and community leaders, media, and more.

Zonta sisters, as we call ourselves, provide support to organizations such as Shelter for Abused Women, and children, Our Mothers Home, Girls on the Run,  various food pantries and much more.  Each year, we celebrate by hosting a fundraising event which also involves the Woman of the Year. This is our major fundraiser which helps provide scholarships to deserving young ladies who plan to attend college or technical school, or a woman who wants to return to school.

Our club meets the third Wednesday of the month at the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce, with a social hour beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by a program at 6 p.m.

We hope you will visit our club and consider being part of this dedicated and sincere group of women who will guide and mentor you as well as build long-time friendships.  I encourage you to become part of this international effort of helping women.

Your voice can make a difference locally and globally.

With Sincere Gratitude,

Trish Leonard, IOM*
